World Biodiversity Forum – Final Resolution

The World Bio­di­ver­si­ty Fo­rum conference brought to­ge­ther mo­re than 500 par­ti­ci­pants, among them lea­ding re­se­ar­chers, ear­ly ca­re­er re­se­ar­chers, prac­ti­tio­ners, re­pre­sen­ta­ti­ves from dif­fe­rent sec­tors, de­ci­si­on-ma­kers and so­cietal ac­tors. Par­ti­ci­pants had in­s­pi­ring con­ver­sa­ti­ons and ex­ch­an­ges on the kind of fu­ture they want.

The Forum was supported by a number of organisations, including the United Nations Environment Programme. It is linked to the Convention of Biological Diversity that is preparing to set global targets for biodiversity.

At the closure of the con­fe­rence, par­ti­ci­pants of the World Bio­di­ver­si­ty Fo­rum 2020 ad­op­ted the Da­vos Re­so­lu­ti­on.
