Swiss competition of phenology and seasonality research 2021
The Swiss Commission of Phenology and Seasonality research (CPS) promotes research and communication of all aspects of seasonality science to a larger audience. CPS specifically promotes young researchers. The Swiss competition of phenology and seasonality research is announced annually.
We invite students and young scientists working in Switzerland on projects dealing with aspects of timing in the biotic and abiotic environment to apply for the Swiss competition of phenology and seasonality research 2021.
Persons with ongoing or finished projects (2 years after completion) are eligible to participate. We consider «Maturaarbeiten» as well as Bachelor, Master or PhD theses. Early postdocs can still apply with their work from the PhD within two years after PhD graduation. Moreover, we also consider media products and art projects that communicate phenology and seasonality research to a broader audience.
The prize money is CHF 1'000 and is given out entirely to one or in parts to several winners. With this prize, the CPS supports ideas and engagement to promote phenology research.
